Whether you’re letting or selling your property, chances are the first time a potential customer will see your place is by looking at photographs of it.
First impressions count.
Photographing a property is a specialist skill; requiring the right equipment, technique and plenty of time to ensure that each room is displayed to its greatest potential.
Selling a Property
You might be wondering why you would pay for photographs to be taken of your home when your estate agent will happily take snaps for you.
Generally speaking estate agents are not professional photographers, their expertise in marketing your property is focused on different aspects of the selling process.
Well lit, well composed images will make your property stand out from the competition, and in today’s market you need every advantage you can get to secure viewings.
I have extensive experience of photographing properties for clients that let them as holiday homes, so I know how to make your place look the best it can through a lens.
As with selling property, when potential guests are looking for a place to stay they will most likely start by looking at property listings on-line. In holiday hot-spots there will be a lot of competition and professional photographs can make your property stand out from the crowd and get you those sought after bookings.
In order to get the most from your property’s photo shoot I recommend that you tidy and spruce up the place before I visit. Before I start taking any photographs we’ll walk around the property together and I’ll make any necessary suggestions for last minute tweaks to get everything just right. From a studio apartment to mansion I’ll take the same care with every shot I take, the only difference will be the time that it takes for me to take the photographs and process them afterwards.
After the shoot I will provide you or your agent with edited image files of the exterior and each room, or I can upload them directly to your listing site of choice if you prefer.
