My lovely partner surprised me yesterday evening by coming home with a giant Hydrangea macrophylla in full bloom.

It's a marvellous combination of pink, white, blue and lilac and it's stunning.

Today's subject, therefore, was incredibly easy to pick, the hard part was choosing between a detailed or abstract shot. The abstract won this time.
