Puzzlewood is a very unusual place, it's a wood within a forest really.

It's far more enclosed than a lot of the surrounding Forest of Dean woodland and actually rather enchanting. It has even been used to shoot an upcoming episode of the new 'Dr Who' series.

Although perhaps a general view shot might have been more appropriate, this fungus was far too fine not to be the photo of the day.
