I suspect that these are actually seeds from a bindweed. Alternatively, they could be from a clematis.

Until the parent plant, elsewhere in the village, grows at least leaves or flowers I won't know for sure.

If it is a bindweed I shall admire the truly beautiful seeds from the safety of the studio, as I certainly don't want any of it in my garden.
